The Columbus Girlchoir is having a fundraiser Saturday, April 17th (Homecoming weekend), from 10 AM - 1 PM. It is a Tour of Kitchens and will feature the homes of Jennifer Locke - 304 4th Ave S., Chance & Gail Laws - 200 4th Ave. S. & Danette & William Stark - 221 7th St. S. Local restaurants and florists will provide food and flowers while area business will have displays on kitchen renovations. Tickets are $12.
Dr. Cherry Dunn, MUW alumna, is the founder and artistic director of the Columbus Girlchoir, which includes girls grades 8-12. Tina Morgan, also an alumna of MUW, is the current director of the Junior Girlchoir, which consists of girls in grades 3-7 from 16 area schools and homeschoolers.
