The Collegiate Art Show will be on the W campus in February. More than one thousand (1,000) entries were submitted and two hundred (200) were selected to participate. Of those two hundred (200) pieces, submitted by students at almost all the colleges in Mississippi which have art departments, Fifty-seven (57) are the work of MUW students. MUW's Department of Art and Design clearly shows that big schools are not necessarily better. Mississippi's First Alumnae Association offers its congratulation to the Art and Design students and faculty.

That is great news. My daughter Betsie's top choice for art school at this time is MUW! I shared this with her. It is just another reason why The W would be an awesome choice for her.
