In the News

MUW Interim President Allegra Brigham attended the recent meeting of MFAeA's Lowndes County Chapter at the Columbus Country Club. The meeting was covered by several local media outlets.

The Commercial Dispatch ran a news article about Brigham's "call for unity" among the university's alumni, stating that "alumni must focus on recruiting new students, donating generously and speaking positively about MUW."

The Dispatch also ran an editorial (with nary a mention of merger or changing the university's name!) throwing support behind Brigham's call for unity: "We, too, want The W to rock. For more than 125 years, the school has been the bedrock of this community. Never has it been more vital to the economic health and quality of life of Lowndes County."

WTVA also featured a story on the meeting, the transcript of which can be found here (the video clip is located to the right of the text).
